As a tool to help you get acquainted with others in the church family and to share life around common interest areas, various types of groups are formed three times during the year (typically September, February, and June) to gather people together. These groups are a great starting point to eventually lead you into a LifeGroup for deeper and more consistent encouragement and spiritual growth.
GriefShare is a nondenominational, biblical support group that focuses on helping people who are dealing with a loved one’s death. This is a positive, uplifting, caring group in which you can learn how to deal with the emotions & challenges that come when a loved one dies. Anyone who has experienced the death of a family member or friend is invited to attend our GriefShare series.
While socializing and connecting, this group will help with various office and children’s ministry tasks, such as bulletin folding & stuffing, church mailings, children’s Sunday School curriculum prep, etc.
We are studying the second half of Acts. The first Wednesday of each month we make and serve dinner at Ronald McDonald House in Aurora.
A group of Christian ladies that enjoy social outings with other Christian ladies. Mostly single women but also some married gals who enjoy outings such as concerts and plays.
“Be holy for I am holy”, commands God to His people. This study will help us define exactly what it is to be holy, what part we play in our striving toward holiness in our daily lives, as well as what we should rely on God to do. We will be challenged to JOYFULLY obey God’s seemingly impossible command to Be Holy.
