I was born and raised in Niceville, a “nice” little town in the panhandle of Florida, in a Christ-centered home. I completed an AA in Business with a Minor in Music from Northwest Florida State College. I married my college sweetheart, Israel AKA “Izzy,” in 1996 and moved to Oklahoma where Israel served as an airman in the United States Air Force. After 3 ½ years of infertility, God gave us two incredible miracles, Lindsey, and five years later, along came Ethan. After six years in Oklahoma, we moved back to Florida to be closer to family. It was during that time that I became active in a local MOPS group for nine years, which provided me with the encouragement and sisterhood so many mothers need.
Much to our surprise, in 2018 God opened the door for our family to move to Colorado; an absolute dream come true! In January 2019, God led us to Crossroads. The first time we walked through the doors, we felt at “home.” God has used Crossroads to be a place of healing, development, and discipleship for the Dean Team from a broken past, resulting in an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father like we have never had before. I am excited to be a small part of a big impact that God is making on this community through the people of Crossroads.
Our family fun time consists of camping, theme parks, game nights, and music. I also like to cook, and I have taken up “Colorado Gardening” since living in Parker.
