SABRINA BANDY

Elementary Coordinator

Being made new surpasses any feeling I have ever had in my life. My name is Sabrina, I am a recovering “earthly treasures” seeker. I grew up in Wisconsin. As kids we knew of God. His story was one we talked about on holidays and the occasional Sunday visit to church. Through my teen years I even sang worship at a few different churches. I knew heaven existed. I knew one day that I would be there. I just had the wrong idea on exactly what that meant for my time here on earth. This wrong idea led me down a path that at times looked fun and exciting from the outside but was very sad and lonely in my soul. I thank our Shephard every day for leaving the 99 to get me. My story is one of redemption and found faith now. This is what took me from the restaurant industry after 15 years and a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Food & Beverage Operations, into children’s ministry. God has protected me through every fire, flood, or beast I have faced so that I can help His little soldiers navigate in this broken world. It is a privilege and honor to be a part of the Crossroads family!

Outside of Jesus some of my favorite things are the Green Bay Packers, baseball, yoga, and food. My mom and I go to at least 20 Rockies games a year. Rain, shine, or snow we never miss Opening Day. I love to travel, especially to the ocean. I enjoy throwing darts and taking leisurely hikes in the foothills. I try to keep things in my life simple as I live with post-concussion syndrome.
