GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays

As we walk through life, there are times in each of our lives when we are wounded and are in need of healing before we could be in the position to help others through their times of struggle. Each of us journey through times of grief, relational challenges, loss, and a myriad of types of emotional struggles. At Crossroads, we want to be able to guide individuals toward Biblical and genuine support during those times. Although we feel that LifeGroups can be a significant help during times like this in our lives, often a more focused ministry may still be needed. A few of the intentional group ministries that we make available are below.

This one-on-one ministry provides people who listen, care, encourage and provide emotional and spiritual support to others who are facing crisis or are going through tough times. Named after Stephen from the Bible who in Acts 6 was among those chosen to provide caring ministry to those in need.
The care you’ll receive is confidential. At Crossroads we provide opportunities to either have a Stephen Minister support you in a time of need or to become a Stephen Minister. One other way to put it is that Stephen Ministers are the After People.

Overcome is an 8-week group experience for anyone pursuing mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Under the guidance of trained facilitators group members meet weekly in a small group setting. Through Biblical truths, hope becomes real in the midst of suffering. We believe all people can find hope and healing in the midst of mental and emotional health struggles. Tracy Sockriter and Katie Burkhardt will be leading this experience.
