GUY LECOMPTE

Missions and Outreach Pastor

I grew up in San Diego and attended California Baptist College in Riverside where I met my wife, Carrie, and we fell in love at “almost” first sight. We spent our first few years together in California before moving to Eugene, Oregon to raise our family. I reconnected with Youth for Christ (YFC) after having been involved with YFC through Campus Life in high school. I was hired as a Club Director in 1995 and eventually became the Executive Director in Eugene from 2003 to 2009. We moved to Denver in 2009 after accepting a position at the YFC National Office to oversee Project Serve, a short-term-mission ministry of YFC connecting stateside chapters with those overseas. I joined the Crossroads staff in 2015 after we’d been attending for a few years and earned a master’s degree from Huntington University in 2015 just prior to coming on staff.

We have three children, all married, and seven grandchildren. They all live here in the Denver area which is an absolute blessing. And yes, my grandchildren are all the smartest and funniest kids I’ve ever known.
